The Good
"Love Like This" not only showcases Zito's soulful vocals, but also his knack for crafting a catchy song. There are funky grooves-o-plenty on "Superman." Even though the track is a lot more subdued that it's predecessor, you'll still be feeling the emotion. The top-tapping rhythms of "Blinded" are sure to get you clapping your hands and moving your body to the music. "Slow It Down" is one of those slow blues jams where all the soul pours out. "Deep Down in Love" delivers some great guitar work with lots of bends and slides.

The Bad
It's tough to cover Prince. Zito's version of "Little Red Corvette" is alright, but nothing to write home about.

The Verdict
Mike Zito knows the blues and shows you how it's done on Today. Zito has the perfect voice to match his emotional and funky guitar playing.
