When first listening to this brief slip of an album I
got the idea lead singer Jordan Clark has a expansive record collection.
Whether it's the fact that each song on this 5-song set sounds like it comes
from a different band or maybe that his voice seems like a throwback to the
great hard rock vocalists of the past, I am not sure. What I do know is that
each song is very hard-rocking and seemingly designed to hook you in. I don't
think any true hard rock fan is going to be able to resist because, as short
as the album is, the band hits you with so many different aspects of their
sound.
I think this EP is decent but I am hoping they are able to put out
an album relatively soon so listeners can get a more clear picture of what
the band can do. It would also be good if they toned the musical schizophrenia
and decided on a certain sound, preferably one of their own creation as
it would be much better in the long run. But, most importantly, does this
mean
that if The Feelings Mutual think their EP is good and I think it is also
good, that I can reference the band's name in a silly pun? Because if so.....ahhh,
I've ruined the joke.
