(Summer 2008) by George Dionne
Is the end of the world upon us? What are we going to do? Ism offers up
that scenario, albeit a bit more complicated on their sophomore release Urgency (CD
Review).
Urgency is a dark techno/rock journey into the intellectual mind
and emotions of Ism's artistic frontman Andre Mistier. Rock Is Life.com tried
to get Andre
to clear up the apocalyptic overtones of Urgency. Although I discovered
it's not as bleak as I initially thought, Andre my have just confused me
more by
how intricate the album (and Andre) really is.
