1. If I knew absolutely nothing about The Revisionists,
how would you describe the group’s music to me?
-- Intensity and purpose, not unlike the Clash and
the Jam, with big hooks and melody to support lyrics that span the personal
to the political.
2. If I were to buy your new album,
what songs should I pay particular attention to and why?
-- See You Around—A fierce kiss off to
apathy over a blistering guitar riff and big choruses.
Fic Fic Fiction- A “throw down your hat can’t we do better
than that” lyrical diatribe over a Stonsey guitar riff that will
tug your heart.
Good and Bad- A Mid-tempo, vaguely Southern rocker that has as much
in common with Wilco as it does My Morning Jacket.
Mr. Stupid- Vengeful and driving punk rock anthem
3. When and where did the band form, and where did the
name come from? -- The band formed
in Los Angeles in 2006 and the name refers to the irony of being able to
change your story with no accountability whatsoever in this age of new media.

What was your worst on stage experience? What was your
best?
-- The worst- Having a beer bottle thrown at your
head.
The best- Having a beer bottle miss your head and knowing the crowd is
freaking going crazy.
5. Do you think that the Internet (whether it be Internet
radio, legal downloading, MySpace, streaming audio, etc.) is a good tool
for musicians or is it a bad thing because it hinders profits?
